1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using Matri Zone, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

To use Matri Zone, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age (21 for male users as per Sri Lankan law)
• Be legally eligible to marry according to applicable laws
• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Not be currently married (unless seeking a second marriage where legally permitted)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract

3. Account Registration

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Provide false or misleading information
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use the service for commercial purposes or solicitation
• Post inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Create multiple accounts for the same person

5. Profile Content

You retain ownership of the content you post but grant Matri Zone a license to use, display, and distribute your profile information to other members for matchmaking purposes. You are responsible for ensuring all content complies with our guidelines and applicable laws.

6. Verification and Screening

While we strive to verify user information and maintain a safe platform, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all member information. Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before meeting or sharing personal information with other members.

7. Payment and Subscriptions

For premium services:

• All fees are non-refundable unless required by law
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before renewal date
• We reserve the right to change pricing with notice
• You are responsible for all applicable taxes

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, with or without notice, for violations of these terms, suspicious activity, or any other reason we deem appropriate. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Matri Zone is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that you will find a suitable match or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not responsible for the conduct of other users or the outcome of any relationships formed through our platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Matri Zone shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for our services in the past 12 months.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Matri Zone and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
